Sometimes the perfect portrait arrives candidly, almost like a gift. Other times, it takes a little while to build rapport and truly capture someone’s essence. I like giving each person I work with the time and attention they need to feel seen and to reveal a glimpse of their inner world.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing the joy and confidence on someone’s face when I present them with their images.
