My personal work explores the act of seeing the inner worlds of those around us and the ways in which they surface through rituals and journeys involving faith and grief and its physical manifestations. Some journeys are interrupted. Others are linear. I document the gestures that accompany these passages: the routines, repetitions and details that tend to go unseen. In paying attention, the ordinary becomes sacred.
